Mar Roxas benefited from May 2016 election fraud - Binay

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas has benefited from the election irregularities in May 2016.

This was revealed by Senadora Nancy Binay based on the data provided by a group of automated election experts and from the Commission on Elections.

In a news forum in the Senate, Binay stressed that she did not accuse Roxas and his father accepted that former Vice President Jejomar Binay was defeated in the elections but surprisingly said why the vote was very low and some precincts did not even get one vote.

She pointed out that Roxas was a member of the ruling coalition, which she thinks is capable of cheating.

The issue was resolved because of Senate majority leader Tito Sotto's allegation that irregularities were due to early transmission of votes before the actual day and the polling day of May 9, 2016.
