Please Read: Modus bani sa Pharmacy? o sa Employado?

This afternoon I went to ThreeSixty Pharmacy (Kamuning St, Capitol Site) to buy Mamax’s meds. I handed the prescription to the pharmacy assistant, she checked the inventory, and then told me my total bill was 496.50. I gave her my only 500 peso bill that time. She then proceeded to get what I needed.
(Mamax was with me. If you're a mother to a 4 year old boy, you know how hard it is to convince them to stay put. Many times I had to walk away from the counter to check on Mamax kay sige'g tago2x sa shelves. I was GGB.)

After a few minutes, she came back and told me my total bill’s 496.50. It's a universal code that tells you you need to hand in your payment, but nibayad na man ko so I just said, “okay ra, miss.” She said, “mangayo nya ko sa bayad mam.” I told her I already did. She insisted she never received anything from me. The other assistant chimed in, ni-ana siya “wa gyud ko’y nakit-ang 500 diri!” That time, there were about 10 other customers waiting for their turn. Nanglingi sila tanan nako. Kabalo ko nibayad nako, but nauwaw jud ko, so I still checked if naa ba gyud nako akong 500.
Being a socially anxious person, I trembled while I checked my bag. I dropped some of my things and some change. The guard said, “nahulog ra tingali to imong kwarta day, gipunit ug lain.” I told them, “Miss, sa akong dala ron, usa ra gyud akong 500. Unya, wala na ang 500 diri nako. I’m sure ako na nahatag nimo.” She replied, “wala gyud ko’y nadawat.”

I told her, “Okay, pwede i-check nato ang CCTV? Makit-an man na nato. Kung wala gyud ko nibayad, then mobayad gud ko. So, please lang ko’g check sa CCTV.” She went to the back of the room and audibly told someone, “motan-aw kuno siya sa CCTV” (as if to tell me it was a very futile request). I answered back, in a loud voice, “yes, palihog ko’g check sa inyong CCTV.” Wala ra’y 1 minute ang nilabay, she said “ay, naa ra diay! naa sa basurahan ang 500! nalabay nako.”
Bish you thought!!!!

Also happens to me in this Pharmacy, I bought 30 pcs of basalat tablets at P15.00 each, then she handed me only 15 tablets, I was in a hurry at that time, so when I arrive home to check, it was short of 15 tablets, so I have to rush back to complain. The cashier just laugh and did not even apologized for the huzzle she gave me. What a stupid personnels this store has?...

  4. Thank you for sharing your experience thru this post. In behalf of 360 pharmacy kamuning branch, we sincerely apologize to you mam for what happened yesterday. We already called up the attention of our pharmacy assistant who attended to you yesterday. The staff said she was in a rush picking your medicines when the money unintentionally flew at the trashbox. This is a serious issue we are dealing with right now & it's under investigation. We understand your side of the story and we'd like to clear out that this is not a modus of our pharmacy. In fact, our mission is to give our customers the utmost care & service. Again, we'd like to apologize for what happened. Rest assured that this won't happen in your next visit. We hope for your continuous patronage of our store & services.

    3. i had exactly thesame experience here in cebu city one of your branch.. I handed them 1000php.. then after giving the plastic bag with the goods i bought she asked for my payment again.. i told the attendant that i already gave her the money.. but she insisted that she did not receive any amount from me.. i told her that she put it on the tray where she has to pass the tray to the cashier.. but she said my try was empty.. so got mad and told them that I want them to check the cctv.. she then tried to check the trays that were already with the cashiers and then immediately said "ay nahulog pala sa tray mam"... just wow..

    4. I call BULLSHIT. Know why? This type of modus is pretty common everywhere else. You can't 'unintentionally' throw the money specifically in a trash bin. You just can't be that careless. And it's pretty likely that the rest of the employees were in it. 'Unintentionally' my ass. Fuck outta here

    15. its not a modus mga madam its just so happen, maybe the staff is new or maybe pressured.just let your concern address to the management for immediate action before you conclude that this is modus.looy pud and staff in her part her conscience is clean and yet you criticize her fault.just have a process of investigation.if your son or daughter work and experience in that way what do you think?you felt bad.just give a little respect and consideration as an employee.

      Delete
    16. I think the very best way to address and clear the issue is to show the cctv publicly in that way ma defend kung unsa jud ang tinood. Ug sa 360 management sorry is not enough for the shame that created by your staff. This should not be tolerated even gamay ra siya nga issue ky tanan big issue gasugod sa gamay.

      Delete
    17. If it is true that the money flew at your trash, then, instantly, instead of looking for it, she also forgot that the money was handed to her? Don't you think this is intentional? Are you willing to sacrifice your companies reputation just to keep this employee?

    19. It's clearly a modus either sa pharmacy itself and more cguro sa staff lang. Why the hell on earth nung sinabi ng customer na gustong makita ang cctv biglang nagcheck yong staff and yes nakita nga in their area which is ridiculous, kc of all places sa trash bin pa tlaga. I won't accept it as negligence because of the fact that it is their day to day responsibility regardless of you're a new staff or not. New staff always has a senior staff supervising them. If negligence to, the moment na sinabi ng customer na binigay na nya ang pera, dapat nagcheck na ang staff instead of mag-insists na wla syang nareceived. Now I know, another function of the CCTV is to check the negligence of the staff.

  8. I'm happy to hear that something is being done about this. I empathize with the customer because I myself makes monthly visits to the pharmacy to purchase maintenance medications for me and for my hubby. I certainly don't want anything like this to happen to me. Kudos to the customer for insisting on reviewing the CCTV. This may not be a modus of this pharmacy itself but I definitely don't buy the alibi of the staff that the money just unintentionally flew towards the trash box. So lame. I hope management will be able to resolve this issue.

Then pharmacist asked again for the bill and what I hated most my mother is being blamed of the inconvenience and sa iya pag ka sayop! 14. I also had an incident in Three Sixty Pharmacy Colon (across Oriente) that I bought some medicines and picked a chocolate bar that was labeled only around PhP30 to close my bill to a total PhP500 when I was surprised I asked to add PhP27 more. I told the cashier about this and only to learn that the 30-peso chocolate bar I bought along with my meds actually costs PhP57.00, I told the cashier that they should honor the amount in the Price Tag and should only charge me PhP30 for the chocolate.

Only to get a reply that the price written on the price tag is incorrect and it was outdated as it was for the older stocks, I told them they could have updated their price tags first whenever there are price increases and to honor whatever was written on their label as per Price Tag Law or could have informed me first that they haven't updated their prices yet before punching the item so I'd be aware of the price changes.

To my surprise the Manager instead of apologizing, insisted that it's not their job to change the prices on the price tags as they're Pharmacists and quite busy with their customers. So I've ask them who's responsibility is it to update the price tags, whether their Security Guard or their Customers -- and the Manager replied it's their Suppliers who should have done it. WHAT?!?!?

I've educated them that since it's their store, they should be the one updating the prices on the labels and not someone else's, especially waiting for their customers to ask first if the labels are correct. I even offered my time and invited their Security Guard to have the price tags updated for them to spare them the "extra effort" that the Manager finds it too troublesome to be part of her job.

What's worse she keeps on insisting that they're supposed to be Pharmacists and not just ordinary store employees, she only stopped murmuring when I started to ask for their full name and told them to take a video of her grievances so I'll be the one to escalate her concerns to their management.

A store Manager's the one venting out of her employment's personal issues, huh?!? What an irony, don't you think???

Natural, on the spot and during nana sa operations makita ang shortcomings and/or bad intentions sa mga agency hired. So i commend the company for taking this matter seriously, kay ug if ever proven na bad ang intention sa p.a. ato, giunay napd na sure ang tndahan. Mas sge pa ang incidence na ang business owners magsuffer sa loss kay unayon sa ilahang empleyado and im not only referring to 360 but to all businesses. System training, pharmacology training, and customer service training. Honesty and Integrity is encouraged to each personnel from Back to Front end, from high to lowest positions. I am not against with the person posting her sentiments in Social Media, but would have been better if she brought the matter to their Head Office to address the issue, since, from what i understood from the Post, the Officer on duty did nothing to appease the customer and damage control the situation. The caption is quite alarming because it appears like the company is condoning such acts. My point is, would have been better if the issue was brought and raised to the higher managements who can give the customer justice to the alleged modus of the PA, right away. Yet, in this day of age, people resort to posting rather than filing a complaint. Just so sad that the name of the Company was dragged and tainted because of the lapses of one personnel. Just my opinion.

  38. To the admin of this blog (the one who posted) please do reevaluate your caption or headline it is MISLEADING, do you want to catch an attention? do it the right way, how come you say MUDOS? you have the story there. We don't have bases that she's doing it often or even the company.

To those CLEAN and PERFECT person out there judging based on the one sided story, good luck to you if you as if you don't get any mistake in your lives.

To those "danghag" try to focus more on what you are doing, or else get ready to be judged by pea brain perfect dudes.

    1. so you're now condoning the behavior of the pharmacy's staff? shame on you. we should call out wrong and bad behavior. as what we can see from the post, the staff already placed her in an awkward situation and even reiterated that she hasn't paid yet. kung ikaw naa sa iyahang situation, di kaha masuko?

also, calling out bad behavior does not make you clean or perfect. it only shows you know what's right and you expect people to do what's right.

      eskwela tag tarong beh.

  39. i think we just magnify this issue. we should not judge them easily cause were not there when this event happened and we are not the perfect judge. Im pretty sure naa jud sila oic/head then y not address it properly or kung dili paman jud gane ka kontento then manawag ka sa ila customer service or pwede ka mong adto sa ila main office; metrobank-jones fuente 14th floor to be exact. Think before you react/post. Nothing is perfect, like you the PA is also human. Have you consider the reason of the PA why na hulog imu money sa basurahan. Diba nag prepared cya sa imung medicine my gani wala masayup og hatag nya na inom pjud sa imu anak or have you consider also the total manpower by that time. basin na carried away raka sa imu emotion. kung maka blog ka wagas.

  41. Danghag empleyado kay wala klaro ang management. Agency naman gud mao na resulta. Contractual pa more... Walay klarong training. Akong asawa dugay nahimong cashier sa usa ka Mall sa Cebu ug sukad masukad wala siya kasuway ug short sa cash in the cash register. Minimal ra error tungid sa centavos bungkig nga presyo. Training is important.

  42. I am a customer of 360 and Rose Pharmacy. I buy the Items which ever is lesser from them. The only big deal for me is more P.A. of 360 are not approachable while Rose Pharmacy are friendly. I can site a branch nga murag perme gisapot ang P.A. Mas friendly jud ang Mercury Drug...

  47. Sorry guys but you know.. I really hate this pharmacy a lot. when they approach with the prescription with the doctor. dili nila check pag ayo kung drops ba or cyrup.. then they will ask you kung pila ang dosage needed then pila edad sa bata.. I just simply tell them miss naa naman sa prescription dont you saw it? alanga ba ang bata mag dala diri ana nga 2 years old then mag dala sad ug ID for prof nga siya ang naa sa prescription? So I called my doctor kay wla sila mo sugot kay wla sila kasabot sa receta, the doctor call from the branch so they talk a while then the phone was handed over me and the doctor said balhin ug lain nga pharmacy kay nga bolok na sila.. I just make a BIG LOL....hahah bolok..hahah
