Australia, Malaysia will help the Philippines vs ISIS



The Australian nation in the Philippines will send two surveillance planes to support the fight against terrorist Islamist militants in Mindanao region particularly in Marawi City.

In a statement issued by Australian Defense Minister Marise Payne, the Philippine government has accepted this offer in particular two Australian Defense Force AP-3C Orion aircraft available for surveillance support at the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Philippine National Police (PNP).

"The Government of the Philippines has accepted an Australian offer of two Australian Defense Force AP-3C Orion aircraft to provide surveillance support to the Armed Forces of the Philippines," said Payne.

In the meantime, Malaysia has raised security in possible attacks of Abu Sayyaf Group and Maute Group.
